Being Yoga through creativity and presence

Generating new ideas is a form of creativity.  Yet it is common to get into a 'rut' or to feel stuck in our regular patterns, to feel in need of refreshing.

How human of us to have expectations about how things should be, which don't always match how they actually are.  Yet every moment is new.  Our practice is an opportunity to recognise and observe with a beginner's mind, to bring a fresh perspective, to be open and receptive.

Something to try: Join Lisa Petersen for a 35-minute somatic yoga class on 'Creativity and the Beginners Mind' - a creative exploration of fascia, fluidity and form.  In this practice, Lisa demonstrates the shared inquiry teaching model for you to experience in your own body.  She will be leading a workshop Somatics, Creativity, Language, and the Art of Teaching Yoga: An Inspiring Yoga Teacher Workshop later this month.  I hope to see you there 🧡

A reflection for your own practice: I choose to use my imagination for creative thinking and self-reflection.
